Full-chain logistics

What does full-chain logistics actually look like?

From first pick-up to final signature, Pulsetbeta covers every node in your supply chain with the same real-time tracking standard.

One partner, every movement

Coordinating multiple freight vendors is a recipe for blind spots. Every handoff between carriers is a point where tracking data can disappear and accountability can blur. Pulsetbeta operates as a single accountable partner across domestic trucking, international freight, Ottawa-area warehousing, and last-mile delivery. That means one contact, one invoice, and one continuous tracking record for the entire journey of your shipment. Our dispatch team uses a consolidated TMS (Transport Management System) that stitches together carrier updates into a single feed you can access from any browser. No log-in juggling, no spreadsheet reconciliation at month end.

Our logistics services

Domestic Freight

Full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) moves across Ontario, Quebec, and the rest of Canada. All domestic loads carry live GPS tracking from pick-up to delivery, and POD confirmation is uploaded to your account within 30 minutes of drop-off. We partner with vetted carriers operating CVOR-compliant vehicles and handle all load planning in-house.

International Freight

Canada–US cross-border moves via FTL, LTL, and intermodal. We manage PAPS, PARS, and ACE filings, and work with a network of licensed customs brokers to handle both routine and complex declarations. For larger international volumes we also coordinate ocean and air freight forwarding, with booking consolidation handled from our Ottawa office.

Warehousing & Distribution

Our 28,000 sq ft Ottawa warehouse offers racked and floor storage, pick-and-pack fulfilment, cross-dock consolidation, and returns handling. Inventory is tracked in real time within our WMS and your stock levels are visible through the same client dashboard you use for shipment tracking. Minimum commitment starts at 30 days.

Last-Mile Delivery

Residential and commercial final-mile delivery in Ottawa, Gatineau, and the surrounding National Capital Region. We offer scheduled time-window delivery, electronic proof of delivery with photo capture, and same-day service for qualifying orders placed before 10:00 AM. Our last-mile fleet is fully tracked, and recipients receive an automated ETA notification.

How the tracking layer ties it all together

Every service Pulsetbeta offers runs through the same tracking backbone. When your shipment moves from warehouse to truck to final-mile courier, each handoff creates a timestamped scan in our TMS. You see a continuous event log — not fragments from three separate portals. Exception logic automatically triggers alerts when a shipment misses an expected checkpoint by more than 20 minutes, so our team can act before a delay turns into a missed deadline. At the end of each month, your account generates an on-time performance report you can drop straight into your internal KPI dashboard.

Frequent questions about our services

How quickly can I get tracking data after booking?

As soon as the pick-up scan is made, your shipment appears live in the client dashboard — typically within 15 minutes of the driver leaving your dock. You'll also receive an automated email with a direct tracking link you can forward to your customer.

Do you handle temperature-sensitive freight?

Currently our domestic and last-mile services are best suited to ambient and non-perishable goods. For temperature-controlled shipments, we can coordinate with certified reefer carriers within our network, but the reefer fleet is not operated by Pulsetbeta directly. Please discuss requirements with our team before booking.

What's the minimum shipment size for LTL?

We accept LTL loads from a single pallet (minimum 500 lbs or 48" × 40" footprint). Smaller parcels are better served by parcel couriers, which is not our core offering — we're built for freight volumes of one pallet and up.

How do customs filings work for US-bound shipments?

Our operations team prepares and submits the necessary PAPS (Canada Export) and ACE e-Manifest (US Entry) documentation before the truck reaches the border. We coordinate with our licensed customs broker partners to resolve any holds. You provide commercial invoice and packing list; we handle the rest.

Can we integrate your tracking feed into our own systems?

Yes. We offer a REST API and an EDI 214 status feed that can push shipment events directly into your ERP, WMS, or order management system. Integration setup typically takes three to five business days, and our technical contact walks you through authentication and event schemas at no additional charge.
